TERMS AND CONDITIONS

STATIONERY AND CALLIGRAPHY TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please find below the terms and conditions for ERA Calligraphy. Please be aware that by proceeding with your order and paying the necessary deposit you accept these terms and conditions.

THE PROCESS

Your personalised quote and timescale will be provided based on your specific requirements. For any digital work, you will be sent proofs to review throughout the process. Included in your fee, is the provision of three iterations of your design. Should you wish to make any amendments after these three design proofs, there will be an additional fee calculated based on an hourly rate. You as the client are responsible for ensuring that all wording, spelling and layout on the designs are correct and that all information appears on your design in the correct format. ERA Calligraphy will not accept responsibility for any incorrect details or mistakes. Following written approval from you, the designs will be sent to print. This written confirmation signing off on the proof will be taken as confirmation that you are accepting responsibility for all of the information exactly as it is shown on your proof. Please be aware that any changes made to your design or your quantities following sign-off will incur an additional charge and will also impact your agreed completion date.

COPYRIGHT

All work produced by ERA Calligraphy is copyrighted and held by the company. You and/ or any other party cannot copy or reproduce any proofs that ERA Calligraphy provide you with. Any improper use of the stationery and/ or designs will be pursued. 

PROVISION OF INFORMATION AND MATERIAL

Please ensure that all information such as guest names and addresses are provided accurately and in the format that you would like them to appear on your stationery. Where provided, please use Excel templates sent by ERA Calligraphy to enter guest details such as names and addresses to ensure that format is correct. Should it be necessary to spend any time re-formatting the information that you have provided, you will be charged at an hourly rate. ERA Calligraphy will not accept responsibility for spelling mistakes or incorrect information that you provide.  Any subsequent additions or amendments required will be charged on your final invoice. If ERA Calligraphy is writing onto stationery that you intend supply, please provide an additional 20% of the material to allow for material testing and human error.  

QUALITY CONTROL 

Please be aware that samples and proofs may differ slightly from your finished product due to variations in the printing and hand finishing process. You may notice a difference in the texture, colour, size and positioning of your stationery. These variations are not classed as a fault. ERA Calligraphy recommends printing all of your proofs for your review as colour and detail will appear differently on your screen compared to print. Please note that the colour of details including (but not limited to) wax seals, papers, and ribbons etc., might appear differently on screen to your completed stationery, depending on your monitor settings. Printing carried out on your domestic printer will differ to your finished product. ERA Calligraphy cannot guarantee an exact match. For letterpress printed stationery, a Pantone code can be provided to reference the ink colour of your printed stationery, but please note that a Pantone reference as shown on your screen may vary from your printed stationery depending on your computer monitor settings.

PAYMENT 

ERA Calligraphy requires payment of a 50% deposit before any work can commence. For work which includes any printed material, the balance of the fee will be payable before printing. The balance of the fee for all other work will be payable prior to shipping. ERA Calligraphy's preferred means of payment is by bank transfer. All payment must be received within 7 days of invoicing unless otherwise agreed. Following receipt of the deposit, work will commence and will be completed to a timescale as agreed upon booking. Should there be any changes or additions to be made following payment of deposit, the balance will be added to the outstanding invoice. Please be aware that any amendments to the initial booking may alter the completion date of the project.

CANCELLATION

If for any reason you should need to cancel an order, ERA Calligraphy will be unable to refund any fees already paid once the work on your order has begun. In the unlikely event that ERA Calligraphy should need to cancel your order, you will receive a full refund. 

POSTAGE & PACKAGING

All orders will have an additional standard fee for postage and packaging of £30. All orders will be posted using Royal Mail Special Delivery or a comparable courier service, unless otherwise specified, which will be tracked and insured. You will receive a tracking code via email once the package has been sent.

Please ensure that there will be someone at your specified address to sign for your delivery. ERA Calligraphy will not accept responsibility for items lost in the post or delayed due to postal strikes or circumstances out of our control.

 

Please note that for orders shipped outside the United Kingdom, customs charges, import charges or other fees may be added during shipment. ERA Calligraphy is not responsible for any of these fees or charges. It is the responsibility of the customer to check whether any fees or charges will be incurred before placing an order with ERA Calligraphy.

MARKETING

ERA Calligraphy reserves the right to use copies or photographs of the stationery produced for you for the purpose of marketing. This includes photographing your stationery to appear on the ERA Calligraphy website or social media, or including them in sample packs to show to prospective clients as demonstration of the services that ERA Calligraphy can offer. Any addresses will not be photographed or will be obscured from any images used for marketing purposes.

Please note that the business logo for corporate clients may be added to ERA Calligraphy's website under 'Clients and Collaborators', unless otherwise agreed.

ONLINE STORE TERMS & CONDITIONS

By using www.eracalligraphy.com you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. By placing an order through this website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must not place an order through this website.

 

ORDERING

ERA Calligraphy will confirm your order by e-mail. The email confirmation will state the goods on order, the total cost of your order including the cost of postage and packaging. If for any reason your order cannot be processed, ERA Calligraphy will be in touch to notify you by email or telephone. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your shipping and contact details at checkout. ERA Calligraphy will not be held responsible for the loss or delay of any order shipped to an address entered incorrectly at checkout.

RETURNS

Please note that ERA Calligraphy does not accept returns from purchases made through the Online Store. Should you have any issues following a purchase, please get in touch to discuss your concerns. In the unlikely event that your order should arrive damaged, please get in touch as soon as possible at ellie@eracalligraphy.com with photographic evidence of the damage.

 

PAYMENT

ERA Calligraphy uses Stripe to process Debit and Credit Card payments. This secure payment platform is independent and will never disclose your payment details to us. By making payment through ERA Calligraphy's website, you agree to Stripe's Terms & Conditions which can be found here. 

POSTAGE & PACKAGING

Orders from the Online Store will be posted using either Royal Mail First Class delivery, or Royal Mail Special Delivery depending on your selection at checkout. A tracking code will not be available for your shipment unless you select Special Delivery. You will be notified when your parcel has been dispatched. Please note that ERA Calligraphy will not accept responsibility for items lost in the post or delayed due to postal strikes or circumstances out of our control, including delays due to Covid-19. Should you require, ERA Calligraphy can provide proof of postage upon request.

ERA Calligraphy is not responsible for any of these fees or charges. It is the responsibility of the customer to check whether any fees or charges will be incurred before placing an order with ERA Calligraphy.

DIGITAL PRODUCTS

Following the purchase of a digital product, you will be sent an email to your nominated email address with a link to access the digital file. If you do not receive this email to your main inbox, please check your Junk or Spam folders. The link to access your digital products will expire within 30 days, so please ensure that all relevant documents and files are downloaded within 30 days of purchase. Should you need to access the link again, please contact ERA Calligraphy at ellie@eracalligraphy.com with proof of purchase requesting for the link to be shared with you again.

COPYRIGHT

All products created by ERA Calligraphy are copyrighted, the copyright is held by the company. You and/ or any other party cannot copy or reproduce any products, tutorials or worksheets that ERA Calligraphy provide you with. Any improper use of products, tutorials and/ or worksheets will be pursued. Any material worksheets or online video tutorials must not be distributed or shared with anyone other than the customer or the intended recipient.

SAFETY

Due to small parts, please be aware that ERA Calligraphy's products are not suitable for children.

 

ERA Calligraphy reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any point and without notice.
