Your wedding day stationery is an element of your wedding design that allows you to really get creative and tie together the different aspects of your wedding styling, from your tableware and linens to the colours of your florals and architectural details of your wedding venue.
If you choose to work with the same stationer that designed your save the date cards and wedding invitations, design details created for earlier elements of your stationery can be referenced again in your wedding day stationery to create continuity.
So, what elements of stationery will you actually need for your wedding day? There are lots of different options for you to choose from for your wedding stationery, and many of your choices will depend on the format of your wedding day. Take a look below for a run through of the different elements of stationery that you could choose to incorporate into your wedding celebrations.

WEDDING CEREMONY STATIONERY
For a church wedding, you might choose to design an Order of Service booklet, outlining the hymns, readings, and prayers that you have chosen for your ceremony. To add a personal touch, you might like to incorporate a bespoke illustration of the church that you are marrying in on the front of your booklet.
For a civil ceremony, you might decide to create a single sided card outlining the order of the ceremony, as well as details of your music choices and your readings.
Alternatively, if your wedding ceremony and reception are taking place in the same location, we could design an order of the day sign, directing your guests where they need to be, and when, to ensure that your day runs smoothly.

WEDDING SIGNAGE & SEATING PLANS
To direct guests to their seats during your reception, you might choose a large table plan printed and mounted on an A1 board, or to offer a little more flexibility closer to your wedding date, you could feature an escort card table instead; with your guest’s names and associated table numbers written on small cards. You might decide to work with your florist to design a floral arrangement to make a feature of your table plan or escort card display.
If you choose to name or number your tables, you will need to add table name or number cards to your tables which can be presented in frames or stands.

TABLE STATIONERY
On your tables, you might opt for individual menu cards for each guest’s place setting, or perhaps you would prefer to print a handful of menus for each table. Your place cards could be written by hand in calligraphy or could be digitally printed to incorporate design details used throughout your stationery.

WEDDING DAY STATIONERY TIMELINE
Make sure you speak to your stationer as far in advance of your wedding as possible to ensure plenty of time for the design, printing, and production of your stationery. Even if there are details of your day that you haven’t yet finalised, starting a conversation with your stationer about your design ideas and getting your work booked into their schedule will avoid any disappointment closer to your wedding date.
